Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari criticized Sunny Deol's film 'Bantwara 1947'

Sunny Deol's new film 'Bantwara 1947' failed to meet the expectations placed upon it. Nine days after its release, it earned only 35 million rupees in box office revenue, which is a low and disappointing figure compared to Sunny's previous works.

The film 'Bantwara 1947' received mixed reactions from the public, and it was watched not only in India. Recently, the well-known Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari watched the film and shared her opinion, making sharp remarks about the picture in her Instagram video.

According to Mir Media Production, Bushra Ansari stated: 'Oh my God, I watched 'Bantwara'... I couldn't watch even half of it. Such bad Punjabi, and for the person who played Yakub Khan. You could give this role to many actors from Punjab. Stop mocking Punjabi. I am surprised why you included 50 kilograms of powder in the props for Muslims in such a children's movie? I don't understand how such huge failures can happen.'

She continued: 'We once made a funny film called Mussamma Motiyari. And here they speak Punjabi: 'You are leaving, go fight for partition.' What does that have to do with me if you didn't want to marry Assi, you should have told her directly that you were not interested. It is very funny, and my God, this is not at all a childish school film; it is a very raw picture, like children. I don't understand how it was shot.'

In the film 'Bantwara 1947', Abimanyu Singh played the role of Yakub Khan, who, in the opinion of many viewers after watching, was completely unsuitable for the role, and his Punjabi was ridiculed.

The director of this film is Rajkumar Santoshi, and the producer is Amir Khan.
