The Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, announced on Sunday that semiconductor chips manufactured in India power the country's most important space missions.
These Indian chips support a wide range of applications, including satellites, launch vehicles, as well as research on the Sun and Moon.
The statement was made by Minister Vaishnaw on National Space Day.
