The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, participated in the launch ceremony of new joint projects. These projects cover areas such as banking, construction materials, education, tourism, housing infrastructure, mineral processing, and horticulture.
According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, this event highlighted the continuous strengthening of strategic partnership and allied relations between the two states in recent years. Furthermore, trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the countries has reached a new level.
The initiatives launched at the ceremony cover several areas, including cooperation in the banking sector, the production of modern building materials, and the creation of educational institutions. Joint endeavors also include the development of gas station infrastructure, the construction of large tourist and residential complexes, as well as the development of mineral processing and horticulture.
During the ceremony, participants maintained online connections with project sites in regions, where representatives of these sites provided reports on the progress of work. It was noted that the new projects are designed to expand interaction between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, increase mutual investments, and create new jobs.
The implementation of these initiatives is also aimed at giving the trade and economic cooperation of the two countries more tangible practical substance.
