The Tashkent city administration announced the completion of construction of a new 110/35/10 kV electrical substation with a capacity of 2x80 MVA in the Yangiha'ot district of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Part of the capacity of this new substation will be directed towards improving electricity supply to nearby residential areas and settlements. Additionally, the substation will provide enterprises in the Yangi Avlod special industrial zone with its own energy infrastructure.
This will allow industrial facilities to receive electricity through a separate network, without creating additional load on the general power system used by the residents of the area. The city administration emphasized that the new facility will contribute to increasing the stability of electricity supply for residents, reducing the load on existing networks, and enhancing their reliability.
The construction of the substation was carried out in accordance with Decision No. 598 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 22, 2025.
