Three Uzbek Tennis Players Will Enter the US Open 2026 Draw

The national team of Uzbekistan has scheduled three friendly matches for the autumn period. The opponents for the team, led by Fabio Cannavaro, are Iran, Argentina, and South Korea.

The first meeting is set for September 24th and will take place in Tashkent, where the Uzbek team will host the Iranian national team. It should be noted that both teams failed to advance from their groups at the recent World Cup.

Next, on September 30th, the national team will play against Argentina. This game is scheduled to take place in China, although information regarding the specific city, stadium, and match start time has not yet been provided.

The series of friendly games will conclude with an away match against South Korea, which is planned for October 6th. Thus, the Uzbeks will have to play three football matches in less than two weeks.

The Iranian Women's U17 national football team is preparing to participate in the 2026 CAFA U17 Women's Championship. This tournament is scheduled to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from September 13 to September 20.

Iranian Women's U17 Football Team to Participate in CAFA Championship 2026

The participants in the tournament will include teams from Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Under the guidance of head coach Mahnaz Amirshaghaghi, the Iranian U17 team began its training camp on Tuesday, continuing preparations for the regional competition.

As part of its preparation, Iran will hold a friendly match against a team from Tehran on Saturday.

The match schedule has been announced for the Iranian women's national football team as they begin their campaign in the AFC U17 Women's Football Cup 2026 qualifiers. All matches in Group C have now been confirmed.

Iran has been placed in the same group as Taipei, Laos, and Cambodia. All Group C matches will be held in Laos.

The young Iranian players will start the qualifying round against the host nation, Laos, on October 5, followed by a match against Cambodia three days later. They will conclude the group stage with a match against Taipei on October 11.

As part of their preparation for the qualifiers, the national team will hold a series of training camps. The coaching staff aims to form a competitive squad capable of securing a spot in the continental tournament.
