To commemorate the landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon, National Space Day is celebrated on August 23. Prime Minister Modi published a greeting for this day on social media.

Furthermore, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh noted that India's significant journey in space, starting from the historic success of the Chandrayaan mission and ending with the ambitious plan of the Gaganyaan mission, demonstrates the nation's scientific superiority, technical potential, and unwavering spirit of innovation.
