Uzbekneftegaz and the Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing a network of modern fuel stations in Uzbekistan.
The signing took place during the fourth Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The document defines the main areas of interaction between the parties in the field of fuel infrastructure development.
According to the terms of the agreement, Uzneftegaz and SOCAR plan to jointly study and assess the possibilities for creating and subsequently developing a network of modern gas stations in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, the parties intend to determine potential locations for these facilities and evaluate suitable sites.
The companies also agreed to work together on developing optimal business models and practical mechanisms for implementing potential projects. This cooperation is designed to expand the interaction between Uzbekneftegaz and SOCAR, as well as open up new prospects for improving Uzbekistan's fuel infrastructure.
