The São João Pharmacy building, designed by the Tsou Arquitectos office, presents a defined and contained volume. Its most striking feature is the curved facade, an architectural element that dialogues with the street profile and establishes the building's presence on the corner where it is located.
This curvature transcends aesthetic function; it serves as a functional differentiator that separates the volume from the surrounding residential grid, allowing the building to have its own identity without altering the scale of the surrounding environment. The project structure is organized into two floors above the ground level, complemented by a technical basement, resulting in a built mass that is compact and easily understandable when viewed from the public road.
