The film 'The One: Force of the Forest,' based on Indian folklore and being prepared by TVF and Ekta Kapoor, starring Siddhartha Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, is facing potential problems. Only a month remains until the premiere, but surprising reports have emerged regarding the production of the movie.
According to available information, significant changes are being made to the film, and it is undergoing reshooting and editing. The project director, Dipak Mishra, known from the hit 'Panchayat,' has been removed from the TVF team along with the entire project crew. These details were revealed in a Filmfare report.
The report states that Ekta Kapoor has tasked Niraj Kotari and Sahir Raza with taking responsibility for the film's editing within her production. Both work directly under her guidance. Since Ekta Kapoor's company, Balaji Motion Pictures, is a co-producer of this film, she is also involved in the creative aspects.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Siddhartha Malhotra himself requested an additional 17 days for reshoots. During this period, the climax scenes and action sequences will be re-filmed. Notably, the film's release date is set for September 25th, leaving the creators very little time to complete reshoots and final editing.
Nevertheless, it cannot be stated definitively, as neither Ekta nor TVF has made any official statements regarding these reports. Meanwhile, on the occasion of Folklore Day, Ekta Kapoor and TVF founder Arunab Kumar published a post during which they visited several prestigious temples across the country to receive divine blessings. Arunab shared in his post how the idea for the film 'The One' originated and how he received support from Ekta.
In light of these events, it is difficult to conclude whether the film is in trouble. It remains to be seen what the project creators' reaction will be.
