The film 'Ramayana,' directed by Nitish Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. This project, produced by Namit Malhotra, is planned for release in several languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and English, with plans also for Japanese, Mandarin, and Spanish.
Recently, a fan-made trailer for 'Ramayana,' dubbed in Bhojpuri, went viral on social media. Although it is not an official promotional video, it attracted significant attention from the online community, which is actively reacting to it.
One user shared their anticipation, mentioning Ravi Kishan's dialogue in Ravana's voice: 'Ghar jaake sutti babu.' Another user on X noted that 'the Ramayana Bhojpuri trailer is simply amazing.'
Users proposed the need for an official Bhojpuri release of the film, suggesting that with proper promotion, it could generate over 100 million rupees from regions such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh alone.
During the program 'Aap Ki Adalat,' Yash commented on rumors regarding the budget of 'Ramayana' at 4000 crore rupees. He dispelled this misconception, clarifying that this amount pertains to both parts of the film and includes production and promotion costs, comparing it to Hollywood standards. He explained that his partner, Namit, stated this figure after accounting for all expenses, as the global nature of the project requires substantial marketing investment that may exceed the budget itself, but the revenue will also be global.
'Ramayana' will be released in two parts. The first part is scheduled for this year's Diwali, and the second for next year's Diwali. Although filming was conducted in Hindi, it is reported that the creators are using 'Brahma AI' technology for dubbing to ensure perfect lip-syncing.
