Administration installs water purification system at Mainpuri school after viral video of dirty water

A video surfaced from Kumhaua School, located in the Kurawali area of Mainpuri district, Uttar Pradesh state, showing complaints about dirty water. Following the appearance of this video, the administration reacted promptly and immediately installed a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system at the school.

Although testing revealed that the water quality at the school meets standards and is safe for drinking, authorities decided to install the RO system to ensure an even higher level of safety for the children. After the installation, the children expressed joy and thanked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The situation began several days ago when a video featuring children from Kumhaua School started spreading rapidly on social media. In the video, young students held pitchers of water and voiced dissatisfaction with the dirty water supplied to the school.

The children made a simple request to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and their village head, pleading for clean and safe drinking water. This plea from the children quickly reached thousands of people and attracted the attention of the administration.

After the video went viral, the administration took the situation very seriously and began acting without delay. An official from the district development department personally visited the school to thoroughly examine the water supply system. Furthermore, a team from the Water Corporation was called in to conduct water analysis.

The inspection results showed that the water in the school is potable and has no quality defects. Nevertheless, officials decided to provide the children with even better facilities. As part of this decision, the RO system was installed on Saturday, allowing the children to now receive water that is cleaner and safer than before.

Excitement was observed among the students after the RO installation, and they expressed gratitude to the minister for such swift intervention. This incident demonstrates how even a small voice raised on social media can bring about significant change.

Students used shampoo during demonstration in Ranchi while police used water cannons

Something unusual happened during a rally in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand state. During the protest march by JPSC-JSSC candidates, when the police used water cannons to disperse demonstrators, one student decided to turn it into a 'free shower.'

Video of this incident is quickly spreading on social media. The video shows a student applying shampoo to his head and body. Laughing, he states that if the police use water cannons, at least he can take a shower. The student also expresses his disagreement with the government, saying that anger cannot be washed away with soap, and asks the authorities to send ten more such machines, claiming they are not afraid of water cannons, and requests the use of tear gas.

The march to the legislative assembly took place on Monday when JPSC-JSSC candidates went out to protest. During the action, some demonstrators approached the barriers. To stop them, the police first used water cannons, then released tear gas and used batons. As a result of this incident, several students were injured.

Despite the completion of the march, some students remained near the legislative assembly. These students claim that in the evening, after dark, the police again used batons to remove them from the area.

Currently, videos and photos are appearing on social media showing students displaying their injuries: some have leg injuries, while others show swelling on their arms. Many students helped each other by applying ointments to the wounds.

Protests continue due to alleged irregularities in the JPSC and JSSC entrance exams. The candidates' demand is an impartial review of the disputed exams and ensuring transparency throughout the admission process.
