According to the press service of the Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Mukhaiyo Narzilyoeva from Uzbekistan won a silver medal at the World Junior Wrestling Championship for athletes under 20, which was held in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Narzilyoeva took second place in the women's 65 kg weight category, thus reaching the podium.
Additionally, Uzbek athlete Ulbike Karlibaeva will continue to participate in the tournament on August 21. She will compete for a bronze medal in the 57 kg category. Her opponent will be the winner of the bout between Liliana Kapuvari from Hungary and Huyunai Khurbanova from Azerbaijan.
Three other Uzbek wrestlers will also take part in the freestyle wrestling qualification round on August 21.
