Andijan Region Leads Uzbekistan's Clothing Production in the First Half of 2026

According to data from the National Statistical Committee, major enterprises in Uzbekistan produced clothing worth 19 trillion soums between January and June 2026. In this period, the Andijan Region demonstrated the highest production volume, reaching 7.1 trillion soums.

The Tashkent Region ranked second in production volume, where 2.1 trillion soums worth of products were manufactured. The Namangan Region produced clothing worth 1.8 trillion soums, while the capital city of Tashkent recorded a production volume of 1.7 trillion soums.

The five regions with the largest production volumes include the Fergana Region, which registered 1.4 trillion soums. This is followed by the Samarkand Region with production worth 1 trillion soum, and then the Kashkadarya Region with 897.9 billion soums.

Also among the leaders were the Bukhara Region with 659.8 billion soums and the Khorezm Region, which produced 620.1 billion soums.

Major enterprises in the Navoi Region released clothing valued at 578 billion soums, while in the Syrdarya Region this figure was 324.7 billion soums, and in the Karakalpakstan Republic—307.8 billion soums.

The lowest production figures among the covered regions were recorded in the Surkhandarya Region (227.1 billion soums) and the Jizzakh Region (203 billion soums). Thus, the Andijan Region became the leader in clothing production among large enterprises for the first six months of 2026.
