Galaxy S26 FE obtains Anatel certification, clearing sales in Brazil

Samsung continues to renew its cell phone lines, and this time the Galaxy S26 FE received the homologation certificate from the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). This document, first seen by Tecnoblog, was issued this Wednesday, the 19th, allowing the device to be sold in Brazilian territory.

The approval was awaited, as Samsung scheduled an event for next Thursday, the 27th, with the clear intention of presenting the latest member of the Galaxy S26 family. The company has been introducing Fan Edition models during the second half of the year, except in 2022.

It is expected that the Galaxy S26 FE will incorporate the Exynos 2500 processor, which was presented in the Galaxy Z Flip 7, in addition to having a 6.7-inch screen, maintaining the same size as its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 FE. The homologation records indicate that the battery capacity remains unchanged, being identical to that of the S25 FE and the Galaxy S25 Plus, with 4,900 mAh (typical capacity).

In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy S26 FE maintains features such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, NFC, and reverse wireless charging. It is noteworthy that although the Exynos 2500 supports Wi-Fi 7, this new FE model is restricted to the Wi-Fi 6E standard. The charger included in the box, at least in Brazil, has a power of 25 Watts (EP-TA800 model).

As mentioned earlier, the launch of the Galaxy S26 FE is scheduled for next Thursday, the 27th, and may be accompanied by the new Tab S series tablets. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 FE was launched in Brazil for R$ 5,499 and can currently be found in retail for around R$ 3,000, or even less on promotions. However, there is a forecast that the RAM memory crisis may raise the launch price.
