Preliminary sales for the film 'Toxic' have begun. At the same time, actress Kiara Advani described the film 'Toxic' as something more than just a fairy tale. She emphasized that it is the result of the collaborative work of creative people and talents from different places, which the director calls 'amazing alchemy.'
Kiara shared a behind-the-scenes video from the film shoot on her Instagram account, writing: 'This film is not just a fairy tale. The experience of creating this film was the same. One idea, talent from different places, every master of their craft—all together became TOXIC. Our director calls it 'amazing alchemy.' '
Previously, on August 18, Kiara spoke about her experience working on the film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.' She noted that this project pushed her out of her comfort zone, teaching her to accept the unfamiliar and master new skills.
In her post, she wrote: 'Movies are a wonderful way to transport us to worlds we never knew existed; sometimes that is true. Every new character, every new set, every complex challenge teaches you things you didn't even know you were capable of.'
The actress continued that the film taught her to be comfortable in unfamiliar circumstances, to remain curious, to keep learning, and to find joy in the adventure. For her, moving forward always meant saying 'yes' to what she was slightly afraid of, and loving the journey that followed.
It is worth noting that Kiara's post appeared during a period of active online harassment, where a certain group of users criticized Yash and his intimate scenes. Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara's husband, was also involved in this dispute. Nevertheless, both Siddharth and Yash openly supported Kiara.
'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' is a crime drama. In the film, Yash plays a dual role, and he is accompanied by Kiara, Nayantara, Huma Kurashi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasant. The story is based on the life of Rai, who is a ruthless gangster and playboy. He becomes influential in the criminal world, and then his life declines. Years later, he encounters his real son, Rumi/Tiktom, who is preparing to take revenge on Rai because Rai abandoned him and his mother.
