Uzbekistan's 35-Year Path of Development and Achievement of Successes

New standards concerning the design of automotive tourism facilities have been approved in Uzbekistan. In particular, special norms are established for automotive tourism located in mountainous areas, near water bodies, as well as for electric vehicles and bicycles.

Uzbekistan and Georgia have launched a new E-Permit system aimed at accelerating the permit acquisition process and reducing the use of paper documents.

Under the new procedure, all types of permits—bilateral, transit, and for third countries—are now issued exclusively in electronic form based on applications from national carriers. These permits replace the previously used distributed forms.

It is emphasized that the introduction of this system is intended to optimize the permit issuance process, decrease paperwork, and reduce dependence on human factors. Furthermore, the system creates a more transparent and convenient mechanism for national carriers when conducting international freight transport.

The E-Permit is an electronic authorization issued for international road freight transport. It grants the carrier the right to enter another country's territory, pass through it in transit, or transport goods to a third country.

Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated that even despite the ongoing war with Russia, it is necessary to find a way to hold presidential elections.

He announced this several hours after Yevhen Khmaran, former head of the Security Service of Ukraine, was nominated as a candidate for the post of Defense Minister, according to Euronews.
