The Iran U20 football team continued its preparation in Thailand, defeating the host side 2-0 in a friendly match on Tuesday.

The game took place at Chonburi Stadium. The team, led by Kassem Hadadifar, demonstrated dominant and well-organized play, which allowed them to secure the victory.
Mohammadmehdi Yannia opened the scoring in the 48th minute, and Abolfazl Zadeatar doubled Iran's lead in the 71st minute.
The young Iranian team will continue its training camp in Thailand, playing another friendly match against Iraq on August 25. After concluding their stay in Thailand, Iran will travel to Vietnam on August 27 to participate in the AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifiers in Group C.
In Group C, Iran will compete alongside Vietnam, North Korea, and Palestine. The Persian national team will begin its campaign on August 31 with a match against Palestine.
