Comedian Shukurillo Isroilov appointed deputy head of Tashkent Culture Department

The well-known Uzbek comedian Shukurillo Isroilov has been appointed as the deputy head of the Tashkent Culture Department. Bekzod Bahromov was appointed to the position of department head.

These personnel changes became known after a meeting with representatives of the capital's cultural and artistic spheres. The meeting discussed plans for implementing industry reforms and defining future tasks.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that efforts must be intensified in Tashkent to implement cultural reforms. Industry employees were instructed to study new regulatory acts in detail and ensure their practical application, including the introduction of new approaches stipulated in relevant resolutions.

The new management was tasked with eliminating existing shortcomings and demonstrating exemplary results in all areas of the capital by the end of the current year. It is stressed that Tashkent, as the capital, should serve as a model for other regions regarding cultural and artistic reforms.

Shukurillo Isroilov was born on January 14, 1970. His education includes graduating from a music school specializing in the rubab, the Tashkent Institute of Arts with a theatrical specialization, and the International Faculty of the Institute of Oriental Studies. He began his concert career in 1982, performing both in Uzbekistan and abroad, including the USA, UAE, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Additionally, Isroilov engages in acting in theater and has participated in film production.
