Old factory demonstrates an alternative to excessive reliance on Chinese manufacturing

According to China's national economic and social development plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), the country plans to form a modern industrial system based on advanced manufacturing.

In the first episode of the program 'Mission Unlock,' Mina visited an old industrial park to study how a bicycle manufacturer is implementing advanced manufacturing principles. She found that the changes go beyond simply updating equipment inside old production buildings.

In fact, an entire innovative ecosystem operates there, combining materials, sensors, algorithms, testing, production lines, and practical application into one coordinated system.

Mina concluded that the crucial factor is not the appearance of the product, but the ability of innovations to transform into real products, the synchronized operation of industrial chains, and the sufficient resilience of the real economy to ensure long-term growth.

Maintaining a focus on the real economy and creating conditions for the implementation of advanced technologies allows China to build a modern industrial system that possesses both reliability and sustainability. In conditions of global instability, such industrial power can become a significant source of stability.
