Telecommunication companies are raising prices for their top-up packages, forcing users to spend over 300 rupees even for a full top-up package. Users who use plans with a daily data allowance of 1.5 GB per month have to pay more money.
In this situation, Jio has launched a new subscription plan that allows users to fix the price of the cheapest full data package for up to one year. Additionally, this plan offers a number of other benefits.
Airtel, India's second-largest telecommunications company, has stopped offering the cheapest full service in its top-up plan at a cost of 249 and 299 rupees. Now, popular plans start from a price of 349 rupees. According to reports, other companies may also raise prices on their plans.
Jio has promised to keep its most affordable plan, but to lock in this price, the user needs to purchase a Jio Prime membership, which costs 300 rupees. With this membership, a 299 rupee top-up will be available at the same price for a year.
In addition to the one-year price fixing service, Jio Prime membership offers many other bonuses. After subscribing, you can fix the cost of your top-up plan for one year. You will also receive a cashback voucher worth 600 rupees, priority customer support, and early access to Jio products, allowing you to be the first to know about new developments. Furthermore, you can use other top-up plans while your data package remains fixed.
For Jio Prime membership, you will not need to make monthly top-ups. It only needs to be purchased once, after which your top-up plan will be fixed for a year.
