Artificial Intelligence is Creating Young Billionaires: Examples of Luxury Real Estate Purchases and Company Valuation Growth

Artificial intelligence (AI) is simultaneously displacing millions of jobs while contributing to the wealth of Generation Z. This technology has enabled young people aged 20 to 30 to become billionaires in just a few years. Some are purchasing luxury homes worth over 600 million rupees, while the valuation of other companies is growing so rapidly that young people are becoming billionaires as early as age 23.

Currently, there is an active race in the field of AI in Silicon Valley, USA. Significant investments are being poured into both large corporations and small AI startups. This directly benefits those who founded AI companies or acquired stakes in them at the right time.

According to a report by the New York Post, it mentions numerous young AI billionaires whose companies are valued in the billions of dollars despite their young age. According to this report, AI startups have spawned dozens of new billionaires recently.

A particularly interesting example is Tony Wu, a 31-year-old AI scientist. He is one of the co-founders of xAI, a company founded by Elon Musk. Reports indicate he is associated with a luxury home worth $70 million, equivalent to approximately 600 million rupees, which was sold in Hillsburgh, California. This property spans about 12 acres and is designed in the style of luxurious lake villas in Italy. The complex includes a main house, a guest house, a pool, a garden, and various sports amenities. Although the buyer's name is not directly stated in the property documents, the report suggests Tony Wu may have been the operator of the purchase.

While many people begin building their careers at the age Tony Wu reached 31, some connected to the AI world are achieving billionaire status, not just millions.

Another name among the youth enriched by AI is Lucy Guo. She is a co-founder of Scale AI. According to Forbes, her estimated net worth in August 2026 was around $1.5 billion. After Scale AI, she also launched a creator platform called Passes.

In 2025, Lucy Guo purchased a luxury home of approximately 13,500 square feet in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, for about $29.5 million, which is roughly 250 million rupees.

AI has enriched not only experienced tech experts. Three young co-founders of Mercor are also a prime example. Brandon Fudi, Adarsh, and Surya were friends since school. They left college to pursue their company. Mercor initially focused on AI technologies for recruiting and then quickly expanded into providing experts and data for training AI models.

The company attracted $350 million in funding, and its valuation reached $10 billion. Following this, all three young individuals entered the ranks of the youngest self-made billionaires in the world.

India's name is also present among this new generation of AI millionaires. Arvind Srinivasan, CEO and co-founder of Perplexity, founded the company in 2022. Perplexity quickly gained popularity as a platform providing direct answers using AI, differentiating itself from traditional search engines.

According to Forbes India, Arvind Srinivasan's estimated net worth in 2026 was approximately $2.1 billion, and he was included in the Forbes billionaires list. The value of Perplexity has also increased significantly.

The rising valuation of AI companies is now directly reflected in the luxury real estate market. There is a reported increase in the number of very wealthy buyers associated with the AI sector in the San Francisco Bay Area. According to a Guardian report, the sale of a $70 million property in Hillsburgh is a prime example of the new wealth created by AI. Real estate agents note an accelerated growth in the number of very affluent buyers from the AI sector over the past year.

The question often arises as to how many jobs AI will destroy. However, there is another, equally significant side to the coin. This technology is shaping an entirely new generation of billionaires. A few years ago, young millionaires and billionaires emerged through social media, followed by the era of cryptocurrencies. Now, it seems that AI has become the next great wealth-creation technology.
