LPG electronic verification deadline approaching: users risk losing access to gas cylinder

Millions of users have not yet completed the necessary action, the deadline for which expires in two days. If you have not received this information, you should complete this matter soon, otherwise, you will not be provided with a gas cylinder.

In fact, Indane, Bharat Gas, and HP have set a deadline for verification through electronic identification (e-KYC). If you miss this deadline, your subsidy may be affected, and an LPG order will not be placed.

The e-KYC process is quite simple and can be completed on your phone by following a few simple steps. This article describes in detail what needs to be done, what documents are required, and what will happen if the established deadline is missed.

The last date to complete LPG e-KYC is set for August 23, 2026, meaning this requirement must be met before the specified date.

Customers of Indane, Bharat Gas, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) can complete the LPG e-KYC procedure themselves. Indane customers can use the IndianOil One and Aadhaar FaceRD applications. BPCL customers can complete the e-KYC process through the 'HELLO BPCL App'. HP Gas subscribers can use the HP Pay or Aadhaar FaceRD applications.

The article includes sections dedicated to the requirements for Indian Oil users, as well as instructions for BPCL and HP Gas customers on how to undergo e-KYC.

If you do not complete LPG e-KYC on time, your LPG contract will be permanently canceled after the deadline expires. Furthermore, the connection may be temporarily suspended until the e-KYC procedure is completed, and you will not be entitled to receive a gas cylinder until it is passed.
