A 'Satyagraha' protest took place in Virar, Maharashtra state, organized by the Kokrut Janta Party (CJP) led by Vivek Tiwari. The protest is aimed at the unsatisfactory condition of the road infrastructure and the general lack of basic amenities in the region.
The CJP delegation visited the protest site to show support and assess the health of the demonstrators. Local leaders from the Congress and other political parties also supported this action.
Previously, the Kokrut Janta Party (CJP) had held a demonstration at Jantar Mantar regarding the leak of NEET examination materials. After Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his post, CJP announced the end of that movement, calling it a significant victory.
However, the organization's leaders stated that the movement is not over after the protests at Jantar Mantar ceased; they consider it the beginning of a larger mission. The organization's focus is now on promoting issues related to improving education and other local youth concerns.
It should be noted that CJP initially started as an online satirical platform but later began conducting street actions regarding its issues. The organization also held a two-day strategic meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, where it was decided to continue operating as a youth movement rather than participating in electoral politics.
Meanwhile, the new generation of the country, Gen Z-alpha, is showing growing awareness of their rights. Demonstrations by students in Hamirpur (Uttar Pradesh), Khatima (Uttarakhand), and Banswada (Rajasthan) have been a vivid example of change. The founder of the Kokrut Janta Party, Abhijit Dipke, highly praised the enthusiasm of the children, writing on social media: 'I welcome these children who are fighting for their future; they are simply asking for a path for their school.'
