The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan has announced the holding of the first Interregional Forum for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea. The event is scheduled for September 11, 2026, and will take place in Seoul.
The forum will gather representatives of state bodies, the investment community, and business circles from both countries. Organizers view this event as a platform for establishing dialogue in the field of business and creating new partnerships.
The main focus of the forum will be on developing trade, economic, investment, and interregional ties between Uzbekistan and South Korea. Special emphasis in the program is placed on industrial cooperation and the formation of investment partnerships.
Participants will also discuss issues of improving the vocational education system and training qualified specialists. Furthermore, topics such as digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and information technologies will be on the agenda.
The forum's program also includes discussions on expanding cultural, humanitarian, and sports ties between the two states.
