A delegation from the Namangan region of Uzbekistan, led by Governor Shavkat Abdurazzakov, held negotiations with the leadership of Mingachevir in Azerbaijan to deepen regional interaction and implement joint projects.
According to information from the administration of the Namangan region, discussions focused on strengthening trade and economic ties, attracting investments, developing industry, energy, tourism, and entrepreneurship.
The meeting took place with the head of the Executive Authority of Mingachevir, Ilkham Ismailov. Participants discussed prospects for establishing direct links between the regions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, as well as opportunities to establish new business contacts for entrepreneurs.
The parties also considered issues of increasing mutual trade, attracting capital investments, and launching joint initiatives. Agreement was reached on exchanging experience in various fields and expanding partnership between enterprises of the two regions.
It was noted that the industrial and energy potential of Mingachevir, as well as the investment opportunities of the Namangan region, provide a good basis for the further development of joint projects.
The Mingachevir side presented the possibilities of its city in the energy and industry sectors. During the visit, the Namangan delegation visited the enterprises 'Mingachevir Textile' and 'Azerenerji', where production processes, existing capacities, applied technologies, and future development plans were studied.
Separate negotiations were held with the management of these companies. Participants discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of energy, industry, and investment, including the exchange of production experience, implementation of new projects, and application of modern technologies.
In addition to economic issues, the parties also discussed potential for cooperation in the field of tourism, as well as in cultural and humanitarian areas. As a result of the meetings, agreements were reached on continuing work in the specified areas and implementing promising projects.
