Representatives from Namangan and Mingachevir discussed expanding cooperation in the fields of economy and tourism

A delegation from the Namangan region of Uzbekistan, led by Governor Shavkat Abdurazzakov, held negotiations with the leadership of Mingachevir in Azerbaijan to deepen regional interaction and implement joint projects.

According to information from the administration of the Namangan region, discussions focused on strengthening trade and economic ties, attracting investments, developing industry, energy, tourism, and entrepreneurship.

The meeting took place with the head of the Executive Authority of Mingachevir, Ilkham Ismailov. Participants discussed prospects for establishing direct links between the regions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, as well as opportunities to establish new business contacts for entrepreneurs.

The parties also considered issues of increasing mutual trade, attracting capital investments, and launching joint initiatives. Agreement was reached on exchanging experience in various fields and expanding partnership between enterprises of the two regions.

It was noted that the industrial and energy potential of Mingachevir, as well as the investment opportunities of the Namangan region, provide a good basis for the further development of joint projects.

The Mingachevir side presented the possibilities of its city in the energy and industry sectors. During the visit, the Namangan delegation visited the enterprises 'Mingachevir Textile' and 'Azerenerji', where production processes, existing capacities, applied technologies, and future development plans were studied.

Separate negotiations were held with the management of these companies. Participants discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of energy, industry, and investment, including the exchange of production experience, implementation of new projects, and application of modern technologies.

In addition to economic issues, the parties also discussed potential for cooperation in the field of tourism, as well as in cultural and humanitarian areas. As a result of the meetings, agreements were reached on continuing work in the specified areas and implementing promising projects.

Namangan Region Expands Cooperation with Belarus

A delegation from the Namangan Region, led by Hokim Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, held negotiations with representatives of Belarusian ministries, departments, and major industrial associations during their visit to Belarus.

One of the central areas of discussion was cooperation in the light industry sector. During the meeting with representatives of the Bellegprom concern, the parties considered the possibility of implementing joint investment projects, introducing modern technologies, and increasing the export of light industry products from the Namangan Region to the Belarusian market, as reported by the press service of the Namangan Regional Hokimiyat.

The Bellegprom concern unites enterprises from the textile, sewing, knitwear, leather, and footwear industries, comprising over 60 organizations involved in the production and sale of light industry goods.

Separate talks took place with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, as well as with the Belpishcheprom concern. The main focus of these discussions was on creating and further developing bilateral interaction.

Delegation from Namangan Region of Uzbekistan Discussed Expansion of Industrial and Logistics Cooperation with Vitebsk Region of Belarus

A delegation from the Namangan Region of Uzbekistan, headed by Governor Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov, arrived in Belarus as part of an official visit. In the Vitebsk region, representatives of the Uzbek side discussed issues of expanding cooperation in logistics, industry, and business ties with regional authorities, according to the Namangan Region Hokimiyat.

During the visit, Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov met with the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Rogozhnik. The parties discussed the need to strengthen comprehensive interaction between the two regions and expand commercial ties between companies from Namangan and the Vitebsk region.

The delegation's program began with a visit to the multimodal industrial and logistics complex in Bremino-Orsha. According to the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, this complex is the largest logistics center in both the Vitebsk region and Belarus, equipped with railway terminals, cold storage facilities, and air transport capabilities.

Anzhelika Nikitina, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk region, noted that the complex's infrastructure can be used to organize supplies of Belarusian products to Uzbekistan, as well as for importing Uzbek goods, including fresh vegetables, fruits, and dried fruits. The facility is capable of consolidating cargo flows, processing goods, and organizing regular container transportation.

The complex can also accommodate light industry, woodworking, and food production enterprises. Areas under consideration include fruit processing and juice production with potential supply to Uzbekistan and third countries.

Official negotiations between the leaders of the two regions took place at the Orsha District Executive Committee. The main topics of discussion included optimizing logistics routes, increasing regular freight transport, and establishing joint ventures.

The visit also includes a trip to the Dokshitskiy district, where an agricultural enterprise with Uzbek capital has been operating since 2019, specializing in sheep farming. During the meetings, the parties intend to discuss concrete steps to expand and strengthen the activities of this company.

The delegation's trip will include further discussions on projects and areas of interaction between the two regions, covering logistics, industrial cooperation, and agriculture.
