JSC Uztemiryulcontainer has acquired 250 new heavy 40-foot high cube (40 HC) containers as part of its corporate development strategy for the period 2025–2030, as stated in an official company announcement.
These newly acquired units are primarily intended for transporting import and export cargo along the trade corridor connecting China and Uzbekistan.
Fleet Expansion Strategy
According to the company's long-term development strategy, Uztemiryulcontainer intends to increase its operational vehicle fleet by a total of 1000 modern heavy containers. The delivery of these 250 units marks the final stage of the equipment expansion initiative.
Company representatives stated that the introduction of additional container units aims to increase overall transport capacity, modernize existing operational assets, and ensure continuous container freight service on international routes.
In the future, Uztemiryulcontainer plans to utilize the increased throughput to serve growing cargo volumes between Uzbekistan and China, while continuing work on expanding comprehensive logistics services, increasing international freight destinations, and optimizing transit costs.
