Vastu Tips: Avoid These Mistakes When Placing Clocks and Calendars to Prevent Financial Losses

In the study of Vastu astrology, specific rules and directions are established for placing every item in a home. It is believed that even small objects in a dwelling can contribute to the spread of both positive and negative energy. Often, tasks that are in progress suddenly stop or are not completed on time. According to Vastu specialists, one reason for such obstacles may be the incorrectly placed clock or calendar in the house. If you are facing similar delays in life, the correct placement of clocks and calendars can accelerate the development of your destiny.

According to Vastu principles, wall clocks in the living room or bedroom should only be placed on walls facing east, north, or west. The north direction is considered the direction of the god of wealth Kubera, while the east is associated with the sun god. Placing clocks in these directions promotes the inflow of positive energy and financial well-being into the home.

There is a prohibition against placing clocks in the south direction. In Vastu, the south direction is associated with Yama, and having a clock in this zone negatively affects the pace of life, leading to the failure of planned tasks. Furthermore, it is recommended to avoid hanging clocks directly above the main entrance.

In the home hall, placing a pendulum clock is considered very auspicious. The back-and-forth movement of the pendulum symbolizes continuous progress and the arrival of a favorable period in life.

Never leave closed, broken, or malfunctioning clocks in the house. Stopped or closed clocks are seen as symbols of misfortune and obstacles to development. If a clock malfunctions, it should be immediately repaired or removed from the house.

When choosing a clock, attention should be paid to colors: the frame should be in light tones, such as white, cream, or metallic. One should refrain from using clocks with excessively dark black or red colors.

Similar to clocks, a new calendar in the house should only be hung on walls oriented towards the north, east, or west. Placing the calendar in these directions opens up new opportunities for the advancement of family members.

It is strictly forbidden to place a calendar on a wall facing south, as this symbolizes stagnation and obstacles. It is also not advisable to hang a calendar directly in front of or behind the main entrance, as this amplifies negative energy in the home.

When changing the year, the old calendar must be removed immediately. Never hang a new calendar over an old one, as this links past unsuccessful times with the present.
