American researchers conducted an analysis of mortality from cancer caused by radiation exposure among people working in over five hundred professions. The study found that the highest mortality rate is observed among airplane pilots, as well as flight attendants.
By this indicator, aviation crews surpassed even nuclear technicians. The results of this analysis were published in the scientific journal JAMA Internal Medicine.
