Ravina Yadav's daughter-in-law died in Jonpur (Uttai) after conflict with husband; police launch investigation

The death of 23-year-old Ravina Yadav from the Durg area in Chhattisgarh has raised several questions. The girl's relatives accuse her husband, Vipul Yadav, of cruelty and arguments related to romantic relationships. The police have registered a case and begun an investigation. This story of newlyweds, who married about a year and a half ago, ended tragically.

The incident occurred in Umarpoti, Uttai district. Ravina Yadav, originally from Jonpur, Uttar Pradesh, lived with her husband Vipul Yadav in Umarpoti, Durg. Both were at home on the night of the incident. Information emerged about the husband's mistress visiting the house, which allegedly led to an argument between Ravina and Vipul.

According to the family, after the conflict, Vipul left the house, leaving Ravina in one of the rooms. According to relatives' testimonies, while in the room, Ravina tried to contact her husband. They claim that from approximately 00:00 to 02:00 AM, Ravina called Vipul about 17 times but received no answer. Furthermore, the family states that earlier that same evening, around 20:30, Ravina called the woman with whom her husband is allegedly involved.

According to Uncle Lala Yadav, a conversation took place between them lasting about 15 minutes. The family claims that during this conversation, Ravina brought up the topic of her husband's relationship with this woman. After this, Ravina returned to her room, where she was later found hanged by a sheet from a fan. The police were informed about this incident, arrived at the scene, and began an inquiry. Currently, there is no information about finding a suicide note.

Ravina and Vipul married approximately a year and a half ago. Both were originally from the Jonpur area, Uttar Pradesh. Vipul lived in Umarpoti, Durg, with his uncle Bharat Yadav and worked as a plumber, and Ravina lived with him there. The couple had no children.

After Ravina's death, her relatives from Jonpur came to Durg. The family side accused her husband, Vipul Yadav, of mistreating Ravina and filed a complaint with the police. Relatives stated that disagreements between the spouses existed even before the marriage, and tension in their relationship began after the engagement. Relatives also mentioned an argument concerning Ravina's personal photographs before the wedding, as well as financial issues related to the wedding ceremony. However, independent confirmation of all these allegations is currently unavailable. The police stated that all claims made in the complaint will be investigated.

Since Ravina was only about a year and a half old, the procedure for drawing up a body examination report (panchnama) was conducted according to the law in the presence of a female magistrate. The case has been registered at the Uttai police station. The post-mortem was conducted by a group of female doctors. After the autopsy, Ravina's body was taken back to Jonpur by her father Lallan Yadav and other relatives.

According to CSP Satya Prakash Tiwari of the Durg police, on the day of the incident, disagreements arose between husband Vipul Yadav and Ravina due to a third woman. According to police information, after the quarrel, Vipul left the house, and Ravina hanged herself in the house using a fan sheet. The CSP reported that the deceased's relatives filed a complaint accusing her husband of cruelty. The police will investigate these accusations and take further legal action based on the autopsy results and the course of the investigation.

Since no suicide note was found, Ravina's mobile phone and call details may play a key role in the police investigation. The police are also finding out what conversations took place between the couple before the incident, who Ravina called, and exactly what happened in the house on the night of the incident. Both the serious allegations of cruelty by the relatives and the alleged extramarital affairs of the husband, as well as all circumstances of the conflict, are being examined.

Girl leaves husband for lover; he suffocates her and hides the body in a suitcase for two months

A story involving love, infidelity, and a body hidden in a suitcase began in Nawada, Bihar, and subsequently spread to Silvassa in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, as well as Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

A twenty-year-old girl from Bihar left her husband for a lover. Dreaming of starting a new life with him, she trusted her partner, who then committed murder. After the crime, the accused wrapped the body in plastic, placed it in a travel suitcase, locked the room, and fled.

Approximately two months later, a joint team of UP STF officers from Varanasi and Silvassa police arrested the suspect Rishabh Kumar Singh in the Chandpur area of Varanasi.

According to available information, Choti Upadhya was a resident of the Roh area in Nawada district, Bihar, and was already married. Nevertheless, she had a romance with Rishabh Kumar Singh, who also lived in the same village. At Choti's request, they fled their native village to Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, where they married and started living together.

However, both families disapproved of the relationship, and they categorically refused to accept Choti. A dispute arose regarding returning to the village. Despite a missing person report being registered against Rishabh at the local police station in Roh, Bihar, the couple continued to live together in Silvassa.

After the wedding, their relationship deteriorated. Reports indicate that Choti constantly pressured Rishabh to return to their native village, which often led to arguments between them. A serious quarrel also occurred on the morning of June 9th. It is said that in a fit of rage, Rishabh suffocated Choti that same evening.

After the murder, the accused made every effort to hide the body. He tied the corpse with rope and wrapped it in plastic. Then, he placed the body in a travel suitcase, closed it, locked the room, and left. After the murder, Rishabh fled from Silvassa to Varanasi, where he hid his identity and started working in a company.

Meanwhile, the room in Silvassa where Choti's body was kept remained locked for about two months. On August 3rd, the truth about the murder came out when the homeowner went to this room to rent it out to another tenant. When he broke the lock and entered, a terrible smell wafted from the suitcase in the bathroom. Upon inspecting the suitcase, the body was discovered, leading to the unraveling of the entire case. Following this, the police began investigating the murder and intensified the search for the suspect.

During the investigation, the police learned about Rishabh's presence in Varanasi. Subsequently, the joint UP STF team from Varanasi and Silvassa police began searching for him. Based on secret intelligence, the police raided 'Shubhkama Real Tech' in Chandpur, Varanasi. According to the police, Rishabh was working there under an assumed name. The team arrested him on the spot. After the police action, the accused was presented in court, after which he was sent into transit custody.

It was revealed in this case that 20-year-old Choti Upadhya left home for her lover and married him in Silvassa. On the other hand, disagreements intensified between them after the marriage, and the situation led to murder. Despite family disapproval, Choti decided to start a new life with Rishabh. However, after some time, disputes over returning to the village led to tragedy. Choti was killed following an argument on June 9th.

After the murder, the accused hid the body in a suitcase, locked the room, and escaped. Approximately two months later, the smell emanating from the suitcase, which was discovered by the homeowner in the room, exposed the incident. Following this, the investigative team tracked down the accused and found that he was working in Varanasi under a different name. Thanks to the joint efforts of the UP STF and Silvassa police, he was arrested.
