The creators of both trailers aimed to recreate the atmosphere of a crime thriller in a dark, retro style.
A careful comparison of the Russian and English versions reveals a substantial difference in duration, editing, and scene presentation.
The first and most obvious difference is in length: the Russian trailer lasts about 4 minutes and 38 seconds, while the English version is 4 minutes and 28 seconds. The English version includes additional fast cuts and scenes absent in the Russian version. For example, the English trailer shows scenes with skulls/skeletons and burning objects or vehicles.
