The state chemical company JSC Uzkimyosanoat held a meeting on August 19, 2026, with representatives from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT).
Discussion of Project Status
Participants reviewed the progress of the joint project aimed at establishing the Korea-Uzbekistan Scientific Research and Design Institute, known as the UzCCT Innovation Center for Chemical Technologies.
During the negotiations, representatives assessed the completed work and discussed administrative issues requiring agreed-upon solutions between the partner institutions. Special attention was paid to initiatives for joint research and development.
The parties analyzed the results of preliminary studies, scientific achievements, and the status of upcoming scientific publications. Furthermore, plans were outlined for completing current research projects, and possible practical applications of the obtained results in the future scientific activities of UzCCT were examined.
After the meeting, Uzkimyosanoat, KOICA, and KRICT determined the next steps, agreeing to improve project coordination, distribute responsibilities among stakeholders, and optimize subsequent implementation stages.
