Be10x scales AI training: from low-cost seminars to preparing five million specialists

As artificial intelligence transitions from the experimental stage to everyday use, a critically important question arises: who will train millions of specialists in the effective application of this technology? This opportunity has led to the emergence of a new wave of AI education startups, and Be10x is becoming one of the fastest-growing players in this segment.

The startup, founded in 2023 by IIT Kharagpur alumni Aditya Goenka and Aditi Kachave, creates a platform for AI upskilling. The company's goal is to help professionals integrate artificial intelligence into their daily workflows, rather than just learning about the technology itself. To date, Be10x has trained over five million people through more than 800 live seminars, with an average trainee rating of 4.9 out of 5.

The company's long-term vision is to educate 100 million people in AI and accelerate the global adoption of AI tools. The startup's philosophy is based on the belief that AI will not replace professionals, but those who know how to effectively use AI are likely to surpass those who do not.

Goenka noted that when evaluating the company's success, they consider not only certification and course completion but also achieved results. He emphasized: 'When professionals use AI to boost their productivity, secure better-paying jobs, or get promotions, then we truly justify our company's philosophy.'

In recent years, a recurring pattern has been observed in the success stories of Be10x trainees. For instance, one specialist returned to work after an 11-month break and secured a consultant position at EY. A Sanskrit student without technical experience began freelancing and received an internship at a startup by using AI-based design and prompt engineering. Another sales professional transitioned into operations and received a promotion in just a month and a half by automating reports, dashboards, and workflows using AI.

Despite differences in industries and prior experience, the common thread was that participants stopped viewing AI as just another course and started applying it as a productivity multiplier. Analysis of these stories showed that AI helped professionals rather than replacing them. Higher productivity led to better outcomes, which opened doors to promotions, and improved skills contributed to successful interviews and securing high-paying jobs.

Although Be10x initially gained recognition for its AI seminars for just 9 rupees, the startup has gradually expanded its activities into a broader AI education ecosystem. The platform now includes AI certification programs, workflow guides, prompt libraries, presentation templates, Excel automation resources, LinkedIn optimization kits, resume tools, and career roadmaps designed for immediate AI application after completing the course.

The company has formed partnerships with global AI platforms such as Google Gemini, Wispr Flow, Make.com, Chronicle HQ, DataSquirrel, Fireflies, and SuperGrow. This allows students to master practical, job-ready skills using the same enterprise AI tools employed in modern workplaces.

The rapid adoption of generative AI has created one of the biggest reskilling opportunities in recent years, as businesses increasingly expect employees to be 'AI-augmented,' regardless of their technical background. Be10x believes this shift fundamentally changes professional education.

According to Kachave, AI has become a workplace skill comparable to Excel or PowerPoint, becoming increasingly essential across all industries. He added: 'The biggest gap today is not access to AI tools, but knowing how to use them effectively in daily work. That is the problem we solve through practical implementation, not theory.'

Building on learning outcomes such as salary increases of up to 170%, job transitions, and promotions, Be10x plans to expand its 'AI Career Accelerator' by adding more industry workflows, productivity-focused tools, and structured certification programs. The company is also building out its educational ecosystem around AI-based research, presentations, automation, business analysis, and prompt engineering, helping specialists at all levels apply AI to real-world tasks, boost productivity, and unlock better career opportunities. Be10x aims to capitalize on this shift by creating one of the largest AI upskilling ecosystems in India.
