Chicago Fire defeated Orlando City thanks to a goal by Puso Ditadjane

Puso Ditadjane demonstrated outstanding play, drawing attention to the young South African who is succeeding outside of his home country. Ditadjane was happy to score his goal in his second starting match for Chicago Fire this MLS season, noting how new forward Robert Lewandowski has helped him become more effective in front of goal.

The Fire team won against Orlando City with a score of 2-1 in the league on Thursday morning. Ditadjane's goal opened the scoring for his team in the fourth minute. Although David Brekalo equalized in the 52nd minute, a penalty awarded in the 69th minute and scored by Lewandowski secured all three points for the Fire.

Ditadjane's goal was his second in the league over 13 matches; he previously scored his first goal as a substitute against Inter Miami at the end of last month.

Overall, the former TS Galaxy forward is in good form since the resumption of the season after the North American World Cup. His goal against City was the third in three consecutive matches, after he scored a brace in a group stage Cup match against Club Necaxa earlier this month.

Ditadjane shared his impressions of his first league goal in his second start of the season, stating: 'Personally, I must say that it is a very special event. I train hard. I want to score goals and help the team win.'

He also talked about how the arrival of legendary forward Lewandowski has contributed to improving his finishing. Ditadjane explained: 'For me, he helps me with finishing attacks, finding spaces, and how to relax when I get into the box. This is how we learn from legends.'

In his post-match interview, Puso Ditadjane noted that the atmosphere in the team is excellent. He stated that 'the atmosphere in the camp is good,' while the team is determined to continue its successful run. Ditadjane added: 'We told ourselves that we have many upcoming games. We must tell ourselves that we must win these games, and it is all in the head. Our mentality must be right to keep winning.'
