The women's program at the Nampo Cape 2026 event will be expanded to provide a dedicated space focused on inspiration, lifestyle, faith, music, and community spirit.
The event will take place in the Distinctive Choice tent at Bredasdorp Park from Wednesday, September 9th, to Friday, September 11th, 2026. The Santam Agriculture Women’s Programme runs under the theme 'Where farmers, food, and community grow together.' Although the program is primarily oriented towards topics appealing to women in rural and agricultural sectors, organizers noted that men are also welcome to attend all scheduled sessions.
To manage the growing visitor interest, a larger tent area has been organized this year on the lawn near the BKB building, along with an outdoor large screen for additional viewing.
Organizers emphasize that this gathering is intended to be a welcoming sanctuary where participants can connect based on shared experiences. Program organizer Burre Burger stated that the exhibition is more than just a commercial display.
Burger said: 'Nampo Cape is more than exhibitions and innovation; it is also a gathering place for people who are advancing agriculture, food culture, and community life. This program brings these stories to the stage in an inspiring and accessible format.'
The ceremony will be hosted by Beneshe Janse van Rensburg, supported by main sponsor Santam Landbou, as well as partners CFAO Toyota, Bredasdorp Park, Afgri, Grain SA, Efficient Group, Lift, Distinctive Choice, and B-Promotions.
To help visitors plan their time at Bredasdorp Park, organizers have compiled a packed schedule including lectures, live performances, and lifestyle demonstrations throughout the three days:
- Wednesday, September 9th: Opening with welcoming remarks by Beneshe Janse van Rensburg, followed by a discussion on changing perspectives with Sumari Jordaan. The session will continue with live country music by Chris Els and conclude with the performance 'Femininity and Other Dramatic Stories' by Mel the Storyteller in collaboration with Damien Beer.
- Thursday, September 10th: It will begin with the presentation 'Seeds of Inspiration' by Linett Beer, followed by a culinary segment titled 'Seafood on the Farm' with David Botha, and conclude with a musical performance by Brendan Piper.
- Friday, September 11th: The program includes an interview with Koben Hofmeyr on the topic 'I Go Again,' musical entertainment by Franne Benade, and an interactive segment by Willem Botha 'Get Ready, the Weekend Has Arrived.'
