Project works on improving the infrastructure of public schools in India

Basic conditions, such as a safe roof, a functional toilet, and a fan in hot weather, are essential needs for every child, not luxuries.

Through The Happy School Project, founder Maitreyi Jichkar is modernizing public educational institutions. This work includes repairing roofs and classrooms, updating toilets and water supply systems, improving electricity, furniture, and ventilation, as well as creating more favorable learning environments through libraries and digital infrastructure.

However, the project's activities go beyond simple building repairs. They aim to restore teachers' pride in their school, change parents' perceptions of the capabilities of public schools, and ensure that children, regardless of their social background, believe in the value of their dreams.

Since quality education starts with a suitable place to learn, the project strives to provide similar support to a larger number of public schools across India.
