A ban has been introduced in government schools in the Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh on external individuals without special permission. Lalchand, Director of the Basic Education Department, issued an order restricting access for YouTubers, social media personnel, and other outsiders to school premises, and also prohibiting the creation of photos and videos.
According to this order, any external person, whether a YouTuber or a social media representative, cannot enter the territory of any government school complex in the district without prior permission from the Director of the Basic Education Department or an authorized official. Furthermore, any photography or videography inside the school grounds is also prohibited without appropriate authorization.
Checks have been intensified regarding those who arrived at the school without permission. The Basic Education Department has instructed all relevant schools to ensure strict compliance with this directive.
The order notes that some outsiders, including YouTubers and other unauthorized visitors, enter government schools in the district and take photos and videos of teachers and the school itself for publication on social media. Such activity negatively affects the educational process in the school, as well as the reputation of the department, damaging the dignity of the teaching profession.
Previously, special officials were appointed to inspect government schools regularly. Appropriate measures are taken based on these inspections to improve conditions in the schools.
The order stipulates that to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the educational process in government schools and maintain the dignity of the teaching profession, the entry of all such external persons into government schools in the Ayodhya district is immediately banned. No outsider, YouTuber, or social media personnel has the right to enter government schools and conduct photo or video shooting without permission. This regulation takes effect immediately.
