The Executive Committee of the Uzbekistan Professional Football League (PFL) unanimously extended Diyor Imamkhojaev's term as CEO for a new four-year period. This decision was made at a meeting held on August 19, 2026, attended by all eight committee members.
Imamkhojaev's nomination was presented to the Executive Committee on August 17, 2026, in a document signed by the President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, Bahodir Kurbonov.
Voting Process
During the meeting, all eight members of the Executive Committee reviewed the nomination. Committee members Odil Akhmedov and Alisher Yusupov voted remotely from Kuala Lumpur, while Elbek Samatov cast his vote remotely from Andijan.
Following the voting, the Executive Committee members unanimously approved Imamkhojaev's candidacy. According to the adopted resolution, the current CEO of the PFL will continue his work for another four years, starting from August 19, 2026.
