The performance was set to take place on September 27th at the Etihad Arena in the capital. In an official statement, the group wrote: 'We are very sorry to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, our show at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on September 27th is cancelled. We know many of you were planning to join us, and we hope to see you again soon.'
It has been confirmed that refunds will be processed through the original point of ticket purchase. The Corrs is a well-known Irish family band from Dundalk, County Louth. The group consists of four siblings: Andrea, Sharon, Caroline, and Jim, who are known for blending pop-rock music with traditional Irish folk motifs.
Recently, Shakira and Jonas Brothers postponed their concerts in the UAE because the Offlimits Music Festival announced a postponement of its event in Abu Dhabi, which was scheduled for 2026. After the first edition of Offlimits, it was planned to resume on November 21, 2026, with Shakira announced as the festival headliner. Organizers thanked the community for their continued support and confirmed that ticket holders would receive refund details directly from the platforms where they made their purchases. They also stated plans to hold the festival in 2027.
The 2026 lineup featured international and regional acts, including Shakira, as well as Jonas Brothers, NE-YO, and the Icelandic blues-rock band Kaleo. Among the regional performers confirmed for the festival were Bayou and rising local artist Yara Mustafa. Furthermore, it was reported that the upcoming Christina Aguilera concert at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, scheduled for September 25th, was also cancelled, according to multiple news sources. Ticket holders are expected to receive a full refund.
