Queen One raises $25 million to scale AI-based e-commerce infrastructure

Queen One has successfully secured $25 million in new funding to expand its artificial intelligence-powered e-commerce technology platform. The round was led by Mercury Fund, with participation from Full In, Connecticut Innovations, and CP Overture. Charge Ventures and Inspired Capital also participated in the financing, alongside existing investors.

With this new round, Queen One's total funding now exceeds $37.5 million. The company plans to use the capital to support its next phase of growth, intending to scale its commercial structure and accelerate AI infrastructure development.

Furthermore, the company plans to launch a new advertising business. The platform integrates elements such as recognition, product analytics, creative analytics, CRM, and advertising, linking all these capabilities to the consumer experience.

The platform is powered by over 30 specialized AI models. Queen One claims that its technology can increase efficiency while simultaneously reducing technology costs. The company was founded by former Wunderkind executives Ryan Urban and Maricor Resente. Their prior experience helped shape Queen One's approach to commerce infrastructure, as they previously generated over $35 billion in revenue for clients.

The company states that its platform can reduce technology expenses by 50% to 75% and provide significant improvements in revenue metrics for e-commerce brands. Queen One currently serves over 300 launch partners and has a staff of more than 140 employees. The company has also opened a 30,000 square foot headquarters in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

This facility serves as the Rise and Fly Vision Center. Queen One positions its platform as an alternative to disparate e-commerce technology stacks. Its AI-driven system consolidates multiple functions into a single infrastructure layer, which the company believes reduces complexity for brands and improves consumer interaction management.

The new funding will support Queen One's entry into the advertising sector. Andres Moran has joined the company as Head of Advertising. Previously, Moran led advertising initiatives at Wunderkind and created the company's original publisher technology platform. His new role will focus on connecting brands, advertisers, and publishers through the Queen One platform.

Moran noted that advertisers and publishers are seeking new commercial models, and he believes Queen One can create a performance-oriented ecosystem for them. The company expects its advertising business to become a primary growth channel. Queen One also plans to build relationships with publishers and major brands, as well as acquire selected e-commerce and martech assets. The company has established a dedicated acquisition reserve for these opportunities.

The strategy may include technologies, client contracts, and teams. Queen One reports that acquisitions can help clients avoid the uncertainty associated with aging platforms. The company introduced a Transition Program for brands using legacy e-commerce platforms. This program offers free data migration via a dedicated Transit Desk and waives implementation fees. Participating brands receive a fixed price for 24 months under Queen One's standard rates, which the company claims will be 50%–75% lower than the cost of legacy platforms. The program targets brands affected by ownership changes and restructuring, as well as platforms experiencing declining investment, helping to simplify migration and reduce technology costs.
