Razer launches Viper V4 Pro in esports-focused green edition

Razer has unveiled a new variant of the Viper V4 Pro mouse, specifically designed for the competitive esports environment. This new version is named the Viper V4 Pro Esports Green Edition and retains all the specifications of the original model while adopting the brand's characteristic green tone.

This product is now part of the Esports Green Collection, a line that groups the company's peripherals with a design inspired by the visual identity Razer has established over twenty years in the competitive scene.

The collection already includes other items such as the DeathAdder V4 Pro mouse, the Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless 8KHz keyboard, and the BlackShark V3 Pro headset.

The Viper V4 Pro Esports Green Edition will be sold exclusively through the official Razer website and selected partner stores. Primarily aimed at competitive players, the mouse weighs 52 grams and utilizes the second generation of Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology.

According to the manufacturer itself, this connection provides a real polling rate of 8000 Hz, in addition to reducing latency by 55% and decreasing power consumption by over 60% compared to previous versions of this technology.

The mouse also incorporates the third-generation Razer Focus Pro optical sensor, which is capable of reaching 50 thousand DPI, 930 IPS, and 90 G. Frame Sync technology is used to ensure greater uniformity in responses during matches by synchronizing movement registration.

Regarding battery life, it depends on the configuration used. Razer reports that the Viper V4 Pro can last up to 180 hours when operating at a 1000 Hz polling rate. However, when configured for 8000 Hz, the manufacturer's indicated autonomy drops to a maximum of 45 hours.

Another highlight is the Razer Optical Scroll Wheel. This technology was developed to prevent accidental movements and, according to the company, offers greater precision and longevity compared to mechanical options.

Additionally, the fourth-generation optical switches have been redesigned to support over 100 million clicks. Razer also uses this new edition to strengthen the presence of the Viper line among professional athletes.

Citing data from ProSettings.net, referenced by Razer, more than three in ten monitored professional Valorant players use some mouse from the Viper family, with almost half of them using a model from the manufacturer itself.

The Viper V4 Pro also carries the endorsement of Faker, a six-time League of Legends world champion.

To create the finish of this new edition, Razer used the Pantone 802C green tone, following the same material calibration protocol applied to other products in the Esports Green Collection.

Despite the launch of this new edition, players in Brazil will initially not have an official option to purchase the model in the national territory. Razer has communicated that there is no forecast for the arrival of the Viper V4 Pro Esports Green Edition in the Brazilian market. Sales will be restricted to the manufacturer's website and selected Razer stores where the product is available.
