Bajaj Auto officially presented a teaser for its updated line of classic Pulsar motorcycles. These new models will soon be available for sale in India, and the brand confirmed their launch date as August 24, 2026. The teaser released by the company featured the inscription, «Gear off for what's next».
In the presented teaser, the company showcased silhouettes of the future models alongside existing Pulsars, hinting at an update across an entire generation. Previously, the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 were spotted, and much of the detail about these motorcycles has already become known.
The Pulsar 125 model is set to receive significant improvements, according to the images. It will be equipped with a redesigned LED headlight, a new taillight, a rethought fuel tank extension, a modernized exhaust system, and sporty graphics.
One of the key updates will be the installation of a new TFT instrument panel, which will support Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS notifications, as well as navigation. The motorcycle may also feature a Type-C charging port and an emergency lighting system. Furthermore, changes will affect the rear suspension.
Instead of the traditional dual rear shock absorbers previously used, a monoshock may now be installed. This will give the motorcycle a more modern look and improve handling. The model will have telescopic front forks and 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels. An improved engine version is also expected.
Numerous modifications are also planned for the Pulsar 150. The pictures showed a redesigned front view of the motorcycle. It will be equipped with LED lighting, a new taillight, a fresh tank design, and an updated exhaust system. The motorcycle will be built on a new frame and subframe, and instead of the rear suspension, a monoshock may also be installed.
This model will utilize liquid engine cooling. The motorcycle was seen with a radiator and heat exchanger for liquid cooling. Currently, the model has an air-cooled 149.5 cc engine. Additionally, the motorcycle might be fitted with an LCD or TFT instrument panel.
Both models, the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150, are scheduled for release on August 24.
