Village children in Madhya Pradesh appeal to collector demanding school road repair

A heartbreaking scene emerged from the village of Narsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh, highlighting the discrepancy between administrative statements and the actual situation on the ground. Students from the village of Rampura came directly to the collector's office in their school uniforms, carrying backpacks on their shoulders.

The children's demand is not related to luxury; they are simply asking for the road they use to go to school to be fixed so they can study without risking their lives or getting their clothes dirty.

These children from Rampura attend their school in Kerpani daily. However, during the rainy season, the dirt road, which is about three kilometers long and connects the village to the school, completely turns into a swamp.

According to the children, they have to walk every day along this muddy road. Sometimes they trip and fall, causing their clothes and textbooks to get soiled, and they cannot reach the school. Tired of this humiliation and fear of accidents, the children decided to seek justice themselves.

Upon arriving at the collector's office, the children showed the officials frightening videos of this route, where the road is barely visible and there is only mud everywhere. The children handed an appeal to the administrative staff demanding the urgent construction of a paved road from Rampura to Kerpani.

Tehsildar, who was present at the scene, took the children's complaint seriously and assured them that the road would be repaired soon and instructions would be given to the relevant department.
