Milkvilla creates a 12-hour fresh milk supply chain in India

The Indian dairy startup Milkvilla uses a hyper-local model to deliver milk directly from the farmer to the consumer within 12 hours. The company ensures its farmers a network of income while retaining 60–70% of the revenue.

In addition to milk, Milkvilla has expanded its range to offer products such as paneer, ghee, and peda. These items go through the same supply chain that the company recently patented.

The review also mentions other achievements in the technology sector. Fintech company Razorpay plans to solve the problems of India's complex payment ecosystem using the artificial intelligence model Vulcan. This model, developed jointly with NVIDIA and AWS, is trained on nearly three trillion data points from four billion payments and is designed to improve payment routing, fraud detection, and checkout user experience.

Other news includes US-based startup Wispr raising $280 million in a Series B funding round at a $2 billion valuation. Wispr's tools use AI to convert spoken language into written text, including emails, messages, and documents. Co-founder Tanay Kotari stated that the raised capital will be used to improve speech recognition accuracy, which will determine whether voice technology becomes a full replacement for typing or remains just a novelty.

In the regional products sector, the success of Dharwad Big Mishra Pedha, a 93-year-old confectioner from Karnataka, was noted. The company received an investment of 300 crore rupees from Bharat Value Fund of The Wealth Company to expand its network. Founded in 1933, the company has 200 sales points in North Karnataka, Goa, and South Maharashtra, where it sells geographically indicated Dharwad peda and other sweets.

Anthropic's impressive growth is also highlighted. According to a source, this AI startup's annual revenue growth rate exceeded $65 billion by the end of July, up from $47 billion in May and $9 billion at the end of 2025. Anthropic forecasts revenue between $190 and $200 billion by 2028.
