The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday the complete halt of all trade operations, commercial exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran until further instructions are received.
The statement indicated that this decision was made against the backdrop of Iran's escalation in the region, which, according to the UAE, 'undermines regional and international peace and security.'
Furthermore, the UAE Ministry of Defence published information on social media platform X on Tuesday stating that two ballistic missiles previously launched from Iran into UAE territory were aimed at maritime traffic and fell into the sea.
The Ministry of Defence reported that assessments conducted showed that the two ballistic missiles detected, originating from Iran, were intended for maritime navigation and crashed in the sea.
The Ministry of Defence confirmed its readiness to counter any threats and decisively prevent any such actions.
