New Skoda Slavia with update receives 360-degree camera and massage seats

Skoda has introduced its new sedan to the Indian market—the Skoda Slavia facelift. As part of the mid-cycle refresh, numerous changes have been made, including the addition of new features and design adjustments.

Earlier this year, the brand released the Skoda Kushaq facelift, which foreshadowed the update for the Slavia. Competitors in this segment, such as the Hyundai Verna and Honda City, have also launched their updated versions.

Since this is a mid-cycle update, some elements remain unchanged. The headlights, taillights, front grille, air intake, and alloy wheels have been updated. The car is also equipped with turn signals similar to those found on the Kushaq. The new Slavia will be available in two colors: Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, with deliveries starting during the festive season.

The car is equipped with massage seats, which are first in their class. A new 10.1-inch screen has also been added. Furthermore, the driver's display has been increased from the previous 8 inches to 10.25 inches, and it includes new graphics and functions. However, the panoramic roof is still not included in the configuration.

The Skoda Slavia facelift is available with two engine options. The first is a 1.0-liter TSI engine, which generates 115 hp. The second option is a 1.5-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine, producing 150 hp.

For the 1.0-liter engine, options are available with a 6-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. For the 1.5-liter engine, the 7-speed robotic automatic transmission remains. The company has not yet announced the price of the vehicle. The old Skoda Slavia was priced from 10 to 18.19 lakhs, including export taxes. The company plans to announce the prices for the new Skoda Slavia facelift in the first week of October.
