According to data from the National Statistical Committee, during the period from January to July 2026, 4.4 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes. This figure exceeds the same period last year by 45.6 thousand people.
The most popular destinations among tourists from Uzbekistan were neighboring countries: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. Among countries that do not border Uzbekistan, Russia was the leading destination.
From January to April of this year, 2,200,530 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism. This means that almost 2.2 million Uzbeks traveled only in May-July.
