Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to begin construction immediately after purchasing a land plot at an auction, bypassing the lengthy process of collecting permits, which previously could take from six to twelve months.
Now, land parcels will be offered for sale with a complete set of necessary documents, including architectural and planning assignments, the project, and the building permit itself.
President's Announcement
The President announced this initiative on August 18 during an open dialogue with business representatives held in the Khorezm region.
In addition to eliminating bureaucratic obstacles, the financial burden on those involved in development will also be reduced. Specifically, the advance payment amount for the infrastructure fee has been lowered from the initial 20% to 5%.
It was previously announced that a full inventory of urban lands designated for public benefit would be conducted in Tashkent. This inspection will cover the legality of issued construction permits, compliance with urban planning standards, and citizens' rights.
