The wrestler from Uzbekistan, Kuvonchbek Ismoilov, won and secured the gold medal in the 63 kg Greco-Roman wrestling category at the World Junior Championship held in Bratislava, Slovakia.

In the final match, Ismoilov defeated Salim Kazmakhov with a score of 9-7. His tournament campaign began in the qualification round, where he beat Zhaojian Wang from China with a score of 14-5.
In the round of 16, the Uzbek wrestler defeated Matthias Johann Arpiainen from Finland with a score of 9-8. Next, Ismoilov advanced to the quarterfinals, defeating Tural Akhmadov with a score of 3-2, and in the semifinals, managed to defeat Clisman Adrian Carrasco Veliz with a score of 3-2.
In the final match, Ismoilov secured the world champion title by defeating Kazmakhov with a score of 9-7. Bronze medals in the 63 kg category were awarded to Tural Akhmadov and Ali Mehr Ali Garibi.
