According to a report by Dunyo News Agency, the first batch of electrical products manufactured in Uzbekistan under the Premier trademark was delivered to Aleppo, Syria. This shipment included air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines with a total value of 90,000 US dollars.
The export deal resulted from agreements between Premier Electrotech, a joint venture located in the Tashkent region, and the Syrian company Kalash Trading. A contract for a total supply amount of 5 million US dollars was signed after a visit by the head of the Syrian company, Ahmad Kalash, to Tashkent.
The embassy organized Ahmad Kalash's trip to Tashkent in June 2026, which led to the conclusion of the export agreement during negotiations. The initial batch of goods was sent to Syria in July 2026 using two trucks.
The delivery arrived safely in Aleppo according to the agreed terms. The delivery was carried out via an alternative transit corridor that passed through Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. The entire route from departure to arrival at the destination took 20 days.
