According to the principles of Vastu Shastra, despite diligent efforts, people often face a lack of money, obstacles in work, and financial difficulties. Various simple methods are proposed in Vastu Shastra to attract wealth and eliminate poverty. One of the most effective and inexpensive remedies is alum (fitkari).
Alum not only helps eliminate negative energy but also opens the path to financial well-being, bringing prosperity into the home.
If you are a merchant and notice a decrease in customers or a decline in business, it is recommended to try this method using alum. A piece of alum should be wrapped in black cotton material and hung near the main entrance of your shop or office. According to Vastu, this practice wards off negative energy and attracts buyers, leading to increased commercial profit.
A common problem is that money does not remain in the family treasury or safe. To avoid this, a small piece of alum should be wrapped in a small red piece of cloth and placed where money is stored or in the safe. It is believed that this helps prevent unnecessary expenses and maintains the stability of wealth.
Often, the cause of family quarrels and financial problems is the presence of negative energy in the home. When regularly cleaning the floor with washing water, one teaspoon of alum powder and a little sea salt can be added. This mixture helps eliminate minor Vastu defects in the house and promotes the circulation of positive energy. When the atmosphere of the home becomes clean, opportunities for economic development begin to appear naturally.
This method is especially effective if you have long suffered from debt or if your household's financial situation is unstable. Several large pieces of alum should be placed in a glass bowl and kept in a safe place in the northeast direction (Ishan Kona). The bowl must be replaced every fifteen days. This helps absorb poverty from the home and is considered an auxiliary means of creating new sources of income.
